For Alabama state background checks (state licensing, Alabama notary commissions, childcare workers, etc.), Alabama law requires use of IdentoGO/Gemalto facilities. We provide fingerprinting for all other purposes, including all federal and out-of-state needs.

We offer a bundled service that handles everything: fingerprinting on FD-258 cards, coordination of FBI submission, apostille of the returned background check, and apostille of any other required documents. Fingerprinting questions.

What ID do I need?
A valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID is required. Driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID all work. The name on your ID should match the name on your fingerprint cards and any application forms.
How long does the appointment take?
A single card appointment typically takes 15 to 20 minutes including ID verification, fingerprint capture, and quality review. Multiple cards add 5 to 10 minutes per additional card.
What if my prints are rejected?
If your fingerprints are rejected by the receiving agency due to our technique or quality, we will redo the prints at no charge. Please note that rejections due to your skin condition, ridge wear, or temporary factors (recent injury, dryness) may require multiple attempts.
Can you fingerprint children?
Yes. We provide fingerprinting for children, commonly for international adoption purposes. Parents or legal guardians must be present and provide their own ID along with the child's birth certificate or other identification.
Do you provide the FD-258 cards?
Yes, we provide official FD-258 cards. If your receiving agency has provided you with their own cards, we can use those instead. Please bring all paperwork from the receiving agency to your appointment.
Where do I send my completed cards?
You'll submit your completed cards to the requesting agency (FBI, state agency, employer, etc.) per their instructions. We provide guidance on submission but don't typically submit on your behalf, with the exception of our apostille bundle service for international use.
